A good friend once lamented that it was difficult to find a butter dish that had a flat top (as most have a knob on the top) that isn't made of plastic or metal - so that she could stack things on top of the butter dish in her fridge (because it is usually full of fresh groceries for homecooked goodness)! IYKYK. We hope our ceramic butter dish offers an elegant solution!

As this is a handmade and handpainted product, variation in colour, dimension, and minor imperfections make each piece unique.
